While I am a human who encourages anyone who will listen, to pursue their dreams I have stalled on a couple of my own. I could logically explain it away and I may even try to do so in this blog post somehow. Once I wanted to be a writer, the genre was going to be Black Romance which was also known as Drama books. I also considered writing greeting cards. This was more than 20 years ago when print on demand did not exist. Also back in those days self publishing was discouraged. Back then any writer who was dreaming of being a respected writer did not self publish. Only respected writers were accepted by the big publishing houses. In fact, there were more talks about how to handle being rejected than there were roads less traveled that could also work. 

It is never too late to dream... here is this blog. May I write some thing that pulls at your heart strings yet leave you with tears of joy, not drama.

My first go at the greeting card dream was Oct 2020 for my online birthday party. It went over well, even though I was just learning the system. I sent out a card to invite some friends to my online Social Sandbox and in return they sent me these beauties! I suppose greeting card writers beget other greeting card writers. Each of these cards are personalized with what they wanted to say to me with mainstream greeting cards.

If it was not so expensive in time and money I would send greeting cards more often. I have sent cards with a simple, "Just thinking of you" message and they have loved it.

My friends were triggered to send me a fun birthday card because I let them know how much they meant to me with sending them a card first. I have consistently been sending cards back and forth among my growing community of people who love me since October 2020.

This was a greet birthday. COVID19 interrupted many things, but not the celebration of a birthday. If there is a will there is a way to still partay!

Have you ever been prompted to do something for someone and it goes away almost as soon as it appeared. Good intentions is what I call that notion. I say send that hug in the mail. It is like opening a surprise gift in the mail.
